Maar zeg eens, wat vind jij van die opmerkingen die ik maakte over de bunkermentaliteit die uit deze mails spreekt en over de oorzaken daarvan. En wat we (in hemelsnaam) zouden moeten doen om de ramen open te zetten in deze hele discussie. Ik zou het echt niet weten.
Een beter formulering zou zijn b) een travestie van de wetenschap.
De directe oorzaak is hun groene ideologie: zij zijn er van overtuigd te strijden tegen de "verkrachters van moeder aarde", en in die strijd is alles geoorloofd.
Ik heb ooit in mijn naieviteit een topic gestart bij Richard Dawkins. Echter er zijn daar zoveel biologen dat de groene ideologie de overhand heeft, en de discussie door het moderatorenteam in een ghettodraad werd verbannen, een beetje vergelijkbaar met babbelen met ... op ons forum. De discussie over het klimaat staat daar dan ook niet bij wetenschap maar bij politiek en kritiek op het IPCC mag alleen in die draad worden uitgesproken. Wat dat betreft is de missie van Jones geslaagd.
