Mijn nieuwe engelse collega maakte mij te laat attent op een BBC2 documentaire serie "Brief History of disbelief"
Afgelopen maandagavond 20.00u zond de BBC de eerste aflevering van deze serie uit genaamd. "Shadows of doubt" gepresenteert door Jonathan Miller.
Heeft iemand dit toevallig gezien?

Ik heb dus maar eens op de BBC web site gekeken.

Jonathan Miller visits the absent Twin Towers to consider the religious implications of 9/11 and meets Arthur Miller and the philosopher Colin McGinn. He searches for evidence of the first 'unbelievers' in Ancient Greece and examines some of the modern theories around why people have always tended to believe in mythology and magic.

Noughts and CrossesBBC Two Monday 7 November 7pm-8pm
With the domination of Christianity from 500 AD, Jonathan Miller wonders how disbelief began to re-emerge in the 15th and 16th centuries. He discovers that division within the Church played a more powerful role than the scientific discoveries of the period. He also visits Paris, the home of the 18th century atheist, Baron D'Holbach, and shows how politically dangerous it was to undermine the religious faith of the masses.

The history of disbelief continues with the ideas of self-taught philosopher Thomas Paine, the revolutionary studies of geology and the evolutionary theories of Darwin. Jonathan Miller looks at the Freudian view that religion is a 'thought disorder'. He also examines his motivation behind making the series touching on the issues of death and the religious fanaticism of the 21st century.

Interessant niet dan? Volgens mij a "must see"voor de meeste forum leden. Jammer dat ik de eerste aflevering gemist heb. Dat wordt kijken volgende week maandag 7 nov en maandag 14 nov.
Kent de BBC ook iets dergelijks als "Uitzending gemist"?

Wat is eigenlijk heilige stront? Is dat de stront van het ezeltje waar Jezus op reed? Is er ergens in de wereld een kerk waar die strond als relikwie is opgeslagen. The church of the Holy Shit of christs donky
Maar nu on topic. God's hand heeft dit keer duidelijk ingegrepen. Zoals gezegd de eerste keer, na afloop, door collega getipt. 2de aflevering opgenomen maar mijn "lieve" zoontje heeft in zijn onwetendheid er een Jetix aflevering overheen getaped.
3e aflevering maar in mijn mobieltje gezet echter vergeten de tril functie aan te zetten.
Heb ik gvd geen enkele aflevering gezien.
Is er iemand die na mijn melding wél heeft gekeken?
