BBC Documentary - The Lost Gospels

Thanks to Heathen.tv, I ran across this amazing BBC Documentary featuring Anglican priest Pete Owen Jones. In this documentary, he discusses the Christian books that didn't make it into the New Testament.

"According to Owen Jones, the excluded gospels describe a Jesus who didn’t die, who took revenge on his enemies, and who kissed Mary Magdalene on the mouth (Ooooh Errr!)." - Heathen.tv

Bart Ehrman makes an appearance as well. He's the author of many books on the topic of the Lost Scriptures.

Van de documentaires die ik heb gezien over de Lost Gospels, weet ik dat er staat geschreven 'and who kissed Mary Magdalene on the ...... '
Het kan op de mond zijn geweest, maar ook bijvoorbeeld op het voorhoofd. Maar waar precies weet niemand omdat die tekst ontbreekt.

Ik vond vooral het laatste gedeelte van de documentaire interessant dat verklaard waarom de Kerk uiteindelijk oor voor de drie Gospels die we vandaag de dag kennen. Met name de Conclusies van de Theoloog Marius was veelzeggend namelijk dat er 2 dogen zijn: de Kwaadaardige Joodse God en de Liefde volle God die Jezus zond. Al zijn werk is systematies vernietigd door de Kerk, maar alle referenties, kritiek en bezwaren op zijn werk niet.
