Er was geen 1 Moslim om protest aan te tekenen op de uitspraak van Ayatollah Khomeini
m.b.t. het hoofd van Salman Rushdie. Waarom stonden de zgn. "moderate" Muslims niet op om deze
fatwa tegen te spreken? Is Islam liefde? Ik als Atheist (antitheist) zie liefde heel anders. Maar ik zal er naast zitten en ik zal gedood moeten worden. Ik vond vroeger de uitspraak: "Religion is the root of all evil" wat overdreven. Nu ik verdiep in de geschiedenis van zowel Christendom als Islam neem ik dit terug.
